About the Community Brigade
The mission of the community brigade is to bridge the resource gap between professional first responders and our own local communities during disaster events.
In the wake of the recent devastating fires, we have seen first hand the importance of these roles.The Brigade hopes to create a lasting cultural change, strengthen the resilience of our community, and empower us all to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
Their efforts include training volunteers in fire behavior, communications, home hardening, and operational procedures in order to assist the community during disaster events.
This program relies solely on donations, and your contribution will sponsor much needed tools and personal protective equipment for Brigade volunteers, as well as support disaster resilience programming and training.
